The 15th London (Civil Service Rifles) battalion arrived in France in March 1915 and in May, 1915 became part of 140 Brigade, 47th Division. From 23rd March until 6th April they were undergoing training at Cauchy-a-la-Tour, just to the south of Lillers where William Little died from an unspecified illness on 6th April. |
